When starting Remote Control, the Remote Control Tool downloaded to my support PC is blank

At times, the Remote Control Tool that is downloaded to the support PC, when Remote Control is initiated, can appear blank or only having a single line of text, resulting in Remote Control not working.

This can happen if an older version of the Remote Control Tool application was downloaded to the support PC from a previous Remote Control session.

To fix this problem go to the following folder and delete it, then try Remote Control again.

C:\users\X\AppData\Local\Esprida\RemoteControl

(Where X is the name of the user profile that is being used.)

How to manually invoke remote control of an agent without the remote control server

The Esprida LiveControl Server come bundled with remote control capabilities to allow a user to take control over a device running the Esprida LiveControl Agent. This remote control feature uses the Esprida Remote Control Server to co-ordinate the connection and establishes a secure tunnel between the agent and the user’s Support computer (which is logged into Esprida LiveControl through a browser). The Remote Control server also allows a user to connect with multiple agents simultaneously and does this all without the need to make configuration changes on your corporate firewall.
